The Client Services Manager position is a full time (40 hour’s week) exempt position located at Ruth’s House, Beaufort County’s domestic violence shelter.
The Manager is responsible for the management of the shelter and supervision of shelter staff. Also included is the procurement of necessary supplies and materials needed for the house. The Manager is the staff facility manager and works closely with the Executive Director.
The specific duties associated with these work areas are:
Counseling services include but are not limited to:
1. Help the client design a safety plan and/or receive needed community services.
2. Community educational presentations.

D. Management of Shelter Staff/Interns
The Client Services Manager will serve as the supervisor of all shelter staff and interns working with or for Ruth’s House. Duties in this area include but are not limited to scheduling, duty assignments, thorough documentation of staff interactions and correctives, and other activities in support of Ruth's House shelter duties. The CSM will maintain timesheets of all shelter staff and report hours to ED twice monthly for payroll purposes.
The Client Services Manager will work with the Executive Director and Client Services Coordinator to design and coordinate programming within the house. All programming will be expected to support the clients and will be client and family focused.
The Client Services Manager will update the disaster response plan as needed for the house and work with the Client Services Coordinator and staff to implement.
G. Other duties as assigned
Other duties may be assigned by the Executive Director from time to time as needed.
Requirements: The person in this position must abide by the Personnel Policies as adopted by Ruth’s House Inc. Board of Directors. Must submit to a criminal background check and must agree to participation in random drug testing as requested by the Board of Directors. Must have a valid NC Driver’s license.
Schedule: The position is designed for a 40 hour work week with the schedule dictated by the needs of the shelter as well as the availability of funding.
Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a human service related field and 1 year experience working in a supervisory position for a non-profit or community services related agency/company or an equivalent number of years of education and experience is preferred. Reliable transportation and valid driver license required.
Compensation is $37,500 and includes PTO, paid holidays and a healthcare stipend.
