CPU is a leading managed service provider specializing in the small business/medium business market with focus on Central North Carolina to Coastal North Carolina regions. CPU designs, manages, and maintains a wide range of information technology infrastructures. The CPU client base consist of various business types and industries from Medical, Industrial, Legal, as well as many others. CPU is currently looking to expand its labor force with the current growth trend of the company.
CPU is seeking an individual for a career orientated business technician position with the organization. The candidate should be self-driven for success and professionalism. They should also demonstrate a reliable and prompt demeanor. An individual that can work efficiently and effectively within a team but also excel when accomplishing task solo.
Job duties include but are not limited to Remote/Telephone support and On-Premise support of businesses within the CPU footprint. Daily duties will include working with clients, both via telephone and in person, to troubleshoot and resolve issues for a wide range of business applications and peripherals as well as hardware related issues. Duties also include installing and configuring end-user devices and core network devices. Cabling and termination may also be required.
Candidate must possess the following –
Valid Driver’s License
Associate Degree and additional one year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Professional mannerism, appearance, reliability, and promptness
Working knowledge of Active Directory, Domain protocols, Windows Server, Windows Operating System, Network Routing and Switching and basic file/printer sharing is a must.
Troubleshooting knowledge of Business Applications such as Microsoft Office, Intuit QuickBooks, Adobe Product Suite and other applications is a plus.
