Web/Content Development, Marketing and Sales - Content Coordinator 2

Location: Remote, PST hours Duration: Contract - 3 months, possible extension Pay Range: Up to $26/hr - $28/Hr. Job Description

We are seeking a Content Publishing & Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in digital content publishing, content operations, and workflow automation using scripting tools and a proven ability to streamline manual processes into reliable, scalable publishing workflows while maintaining high content quality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed QA of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint templates for metadata, accessibility, and publishing standards.
• Publish and maintain content in the CMS following defined workflows and release requirements.
• Support en-US and localized bulk-ingestion workflows and coordinate handoffs with content, design, and localization teams.
• Maintain clear documentation, trackers, status updates, and audit trails for publishing activities.
• Identify repetitive or error-prone operations and define actionable automation requirements.
• Build, test, document, and maintain scripts and lightweight tools using Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot CLI and Copilot in Visual Studio Code for solution development and troubleshooting.
• Consolidate scripts into simple, reliable end-to-end tools and one-click workflows where feasible.
• Create dashboards or reporting to provide visibility into throughput, quality, and blockers.
• Develop clear process documentation, user guidance, and support materials for team adoption and maintenance.
• Balance automation with appropriate human review to protect quality and publishing controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-4 years in digital content publishing, content operations, content management, or production.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with a CMS or publishing platform to prepare, publish, update, and maintain content.
• Understanding of content lifecycles including intake, metadata preparation, QA, localization, ingestion, release, and maintenance.
• Proficiency automating workflows with Python, PowerShell, or another scripting language.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot CLI or Copilot in Visual Studio Code.
• Strong attention to detail and structured QA execution against defined requirements or checklists.
• Organizational skills with ability to manage multiple publishing and automation priorities independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Content Automation, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with APIs, Git-based workflows, command-line tools, Kusto, Excel automation, or dashboard and reporting solutions.
• Experience developing batch-processing tools, validation frameworks, or internal utilities for content or quality operations.
• Familiarity with generative AI, prompt-based workflows, or human-in-the-loop quality processes.

Additional Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, standard core hours aligned to PST.
• Equipment: Supplier to provide standard PC.
• Assessment: 1-2 rounds per person, 30-45 minutes. Candidates should be prepared to discuss prior experience.
• Team Purpose: Create AI-generated content and conduct evaluations supporting AI content experiments across the organization.
• Disqualifier: Resumes with constant job hopping or low tenure will not be eligible.
