Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a leading life sciences and healthcare organization known for developing and supporting innovative products in a highly regulated quality environment in Greenville, NC.Position DetailsLocation: Greenville, NCWork Arrangement: 100% OnsitePay Rate: Up to $27/hourContract: 1-year contract with potential for direct hireSchedule: 12-hour shift, 2-2-3 rotationHours: 6:00 AM–6:00 PMTravel: Less than 15% may be requiredInterview: [Interview format]Position OverviewThe Quality Assurance Specialist will support day-to-day quality operations while working directly with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to identify, investigate, and resolve quality-related issues.This position will be responsible for executing core Quality Assurance processes, including customer complaints, product quarantine and recovery, quality investigations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), change notifications, quality reporting, customer surveys, internal audits, and continuous improvement initiativesThe ideal candidate will have experience working in a regulated ISO and/or FDA environment , strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day execution of core Quality Assurance processes.Process and distribute customer complaints and identify issues requiring escalation.Work with Customer Service to fully document customer allegations and coordinate product returns for evaluation.Coordinate quality investigations with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersReview and communicate root cause and corrective actions resulting from quality investigations.Facilitate product quarantine, recovery, and disposition activities.Support quality issues involving products that may have regulatory or legal considerations.Process change notifications, customer surveys, quality certificates, and related quality documentation.Collect, analyze, and report quality data.Run database queries and prepare quality reports and metrics.Support customer surveys and Requests for Proposal (RFPs)Create, revise, and maintain QA procedures and work instructionsParticipate in internal audits of the Quality Management System (QMS)Support continuous improvement initiatives using Practical Process Improvement (PPI), Lean, Six Sigma , or similar methodologies.Develop and distribute supplier and team performance metrics.Provide training and presentations on QA processes to departments outside of Quality Assurance.Support projects and other quality-related initiatives as assigned.Maintain accurate and timely quality records in accordance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field such as:EngineeringChemistryBiologyMathematicsOr a related disciplineEquivalent relevant technical/scientific experience may be considered.2+ years of experience working in an ISO-regulated and/or FDA cGMP environment.Experience working directly with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters.Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and problem solvingStrong understanding of quality systems and regulated manufacturing environments.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with a sense of urgency.Strong computer, analytical, and data-management skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.Preferred ExperienceExperience with:ISO 13485FDA cGMPQuality Management Systems (QMS)CAPACustomer complaintsSupplier qualityInternal or external auditingMasterControl or similar quality management systemsSix SigmaLeanPractical Process Improvement (PPI)MinitabPareto chartsRun chartsFlowchartingPivot tablesData analysis and reportingOracle or similar database systemsMicrosoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPointLead Auditor experience is a plus.What Makes This Role a Strong Opportunity?This position offers the opportunity to work across several areas of Quality Assurance and Quality Systems , rather than focusing on a single laboratory or production function.
