Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.Description Air Systems Components (ASC), a business segment of Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. (ADTI), is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor for our Tarboro, NC manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for leading inventory control activities that support the production of HVAC terminal units, grilles, and air distribution products. The Inventory Control Supervisor will ensure inventory accuracy, maintain transactional integrity within ERP systems, oversee cycle count activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence.This position partners closely with Materials, Production, Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure inventory accuracy, material availability, and efficient material flow throughout the facility. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who can drive accountability, improve processes, and support the plant's safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.What You'll Do Supervise daily inventory control operations, including cycle counts, audits, inventory reconciliation, and transaction accuracy.Lead and develop inventory control personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.Ensure inventory records accurately reflect physical inventory through disciplined ERP transaction management and inventory control processes.Develop and maintain cycle count programs to achieve inventory accuracy goals and minimize inventory discrepancies.Investigate inventory variances, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.Partner with Warehouse, Receiving, Shipping, Materials, and Production teams to ensure proper material movement and inventory transactions.Monitor and analyze inventory metrics, including inventory accuracy, inventory adjustments, cycle count compliance, and material shortages.Support production operations by ensuring timely availability and accuracy of raw materials, purchased components, and finished goods inventory.Maintain inventory master data and support ERP parameter accuracy, including inventory locations, replenishment settings, and material attributes.Collaborate with Purchasing and Materials Planning teams to improve inventory management practices and reduce excess or obsolete inventory.Support physical inventory activities and coordinate annual inventory audits.Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, material flow, warehouse organization, and process efficiency.Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and inventory management procedures.Maintain safe working practices and promote a strong safety culture within all inventory and warehouse operations.Perform other duties as assigned.What We're Looking For Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Logistics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.3+ years of inventory control, materials management, warehouse operations, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems for inventory management and transaction processing.Strong understanding of: Inventory control principlesCycle counting methodologiesRoot cause analysisMaterial flow and warehouse operationsInventory reconciliation processesProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization.Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or related discipline.Experience in HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, discrete manufacturing, or engineered-to-order production environments.Experience supporting high-mix manufacturing operations.Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle, MAPICS, or comparable ERP systems.APICS/ASCM certification such as CPIM or CSCP.Experience leading inventory reduction and inventory accuracy improvement initiatives.Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).This position operates within a manufacturing and warehouse environment producing HVAC air distribution products. The role requires regular interaction with production, warehouse, and material handling operations. Employees may be exposed to moving machinery, forklifts, material handling equipment, and varying noise levels.The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting of materials up to 25 pounds.
