Coordinator of Audio Services

The Coordinator of Audio Services will serve as the chief recording engineer and audio technician in support of the academic and educational programs in the School of Music and instructor of Music Technology courses. Primary responsibilities include serving as chief recording engineer and audio technician in support of the academic and educational programs. Recruit, train, and oversee graduate and undergraduate students who serve as engineering crews for SRAPAS and School of Music events both on and off campus. Select and procure media and recording equipment and software for the School of Music and its performance spaces. Provide technical support for opera, jazz, ECUNewMusic, and SRAPAS productions. Manage the streaming servers for web broadcasts of School of Music events. Coordinate with the Music Library to archive School of Music recordings. Teach course(s) in music technology.

Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Master's degree; or Bachelor's degree in music or performing arts discipline with at least two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Classical music background. Master's degree in a closely related field. Three or more years of directly related technical experience. Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
