Primary ObjectiveStore Managers are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a store. They must ensure the store operates efficiently, provide high-quality customer service, manage staff, and maintain solid communication with the management team and all associates throughout the organization. They also participate in strategic planning and marketing efforts, and serve as a partner in the community we serve.Store ManagerResponsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate the daily operations of the grocery storeManage and lead a team, providing training and development opportunitiesMonitor inventory levels and order stock as requiredImplement and maintain store policies and proceduresEnsure the store complies with health and safety regulationsHandle customer inquiries and complaints professionallySet targets and goals for the store and staff, and implement measures to achieve themDevelop marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing onesCoordinate with vendors and suppliersMonitor the store's financial performance and identify ways to increase profitabilityEnsure the store layout is customer-friendly and products are easily accessibleDevelop business strategies to expand the customer base, increase store traffic, and optimize profitabilityMeet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staffEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent serviceComplete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and proceduresMaintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standardsReport on buying trends, customer needs, profits, and other relevant dataResolve issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock controlImplement and oversee security procedures to minimize theft and other lossesQualificationsProven successful experience as a retail managerStrong leadership skills and business orientationCustomer management skillsStrong organizational skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to use technical information to solve problemsAbility to lead and direct othersWillingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirementsPhysical RequirementsAbility to use computers and other communication systems required to perform job functionsUse handheld computers for orders, mark‑downs, scan outs, and inventoryStand 100% of the time, frequently walking short distancesPush or pull up to 2,000 pounds using a pallet jack or floatPerform repetitive hand and arm motionsBend and lift products weighing up to 15 lbs. continuously, 25 lbs. frequently, and approximately 100 lbs. on occasionHandle a variety of substances associated with cleaning and packaging materials, and household cleanersFrequent reaching and grasping at waist level; occasionally above shoulder or below waist levelMeet established volume activity standards for the positionTolerate working in extreme hot/cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a timeHave sufficient visual ability to check invoices, dates, and other written documents#J-18808-Ljbffr
