Join a community-driven, faith-based restaurant group at a pivotal moment. Villa Verde has grown from a food truck in 2013 to four thriving locations, and we're now elevating our flagship restaurant into a fine dining destination. We're seeking an Executive Chef to lead this transformation and help us continue our legacy of serving Greenville.

About You: You have proven fine dining kitchen experience, understand Dominican cuisine or are eager to learn it, and speak Spanish ideally. More importantly, you're someone with integrity who loves what you do and wants to build something meaningful in a community that will support your growth.

The Role: You'll lead our kitchen team at our tenth street location, developing existing talent and bringing in new voices to execute elevated Dominican small plates. You'll have autonomy to shape the kitchen culture, develop menus, and set the standard for Villa Verde's next chapter. This role focuses on establishing excellence at our flagship tenth street location over the next two years before potentially expanding your leadership across our growing portfolio.

Why Villa Verde: We've partnered with Eastern Carolina University, catering food for their basketball, football, and baseball teams, run food and beverage operations for Hyster Yale, collaborate with the world's largest YouTube channel, and Beast Games, catering all meals for cast members across seasons two and three, and support community programs like Joy Soup Kitchen. Our mission extends beyond the restaurant—when natural disasters strike, we don't wait to be asked. We reach out to Mayor PJ Connelly and our first responder community to ensure they're fed and cared for throughout the crisis. As a faith-based business, we believe in serving our community with integrity and building something bigger than ourselves. You're not just cooking—you're part of Greenville's backbone.

Compensation and Growth: Base salary seventy five to ninety five thousand dollars based on experience, plus potential profit sharing tied to location performance with the right candidate after show of results. We're building a next generation leadership team, and there's potential for equity participation as the business grows.

Relocation Support: Up to five thousand dollars toward moving expenses for the right candidate.

Start Date: End of July.

Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $95,000.00)
