Job Description:This position is responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the receipt, storage, distribution, and shipping of GMP materials, chemicals and supplies. This role provides support as needed to EH&S for waste pick‑up.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Participate in project work as needed to achieve department goalsPerform routine physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products/inventoryMaintain storage area by organizing floor and rack spaceKeep warehouse equipment in good repair by performing daily preventative maintenance tasksPerform basic transactions associated with logistics processes through internal and external computer systemsInspect all items for quality and damages in the receiving, storing, and shipping processes, report findings to managementAdvise management of shortages or discrepancies in inventory levelsResponsible for transport and staging of production materials to support production schedulesOperate machinery such as sit‑down or stand‑up forklifts and pallet jacks to perform routine physical handling of itemsUtilize and maintain various tools and supplies required to assemble packaging and affix shipping labelsMaintain office supply inventory in stockroom and storage areasCollect and correctly segregate industrial solid waste from all areas of the facilities and groundsCollect and correctly segregate pharmaceutical, universal, hazardous, and non‑hazardous waste generated in the laboratory, manufacturing, and packaging operationsOversee and schedule waste removal activities to offsite locationsEnsure facilities are clean and in a well‑maintained stateMaintain a safe work environment by properly handling waste collection and disposal in accordance with site and regulatory proceduresEducation or Equivalent Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentForklift experience preferredMust have or be able to obtain certification in DOT/IATA regulationsStrong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift 50-70 lbs unassistedOperate machinery and tools, including pallet jack and forkliftMajority of work day is performed while standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushingAbility to use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulationsAbility to bend, squat, crawl, climb and reachSome exposure to hazardous chemical and other active pharmaceutical ingredients#J-18808-Ljbffr
