Caswell Developmental Center is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Cook to prepare nutritious meals for our residents. This position involves preparing food in accordance with approved menus and portion quantities established by dietary management and supervisors. The Cook must demonstrate proficiency in coordinating cooking times for multiple food items to ensure all meal components are completed and served on schedule. Work is routinely reviewed by a supervisor to ensure compliance with food safety standards, adherence to meal schedules, and effective minimization of food waste. The working hours for the Cook position within the Dietary department are from 8:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
