Kinston Community Center Lifeguard

Responsible for the safety/supervision of the public, and members of the City's swimming pools at the Kinston Community Center.

Essential Functions

• Monitor pool area to ensure safety of all participants.
• Perform rescue operations as needed.
• Ensure pools and pool areas are clean and usable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities/Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess current Lifeguard certification.
• Must possess current CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification.
• Must meet minimum age requirement of 15 years old.
• Must adhere to all Parks and Recreation standards.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays and have a flexible schedule.
