Sr. Director Business Development – PennsylvaniaLocation: Greenville, Pennsylvania (Home-based)To be eligible for this position, you must reside in the same country where the job is located.Role SummaryDrive enterprise‑level growth for IQVIA's Technology-Enabled Sales Organization (TESO) by developing and closing complex, integrated commercial solutions. Serve as a senior client partner to pharmaceutical and biotech companies, aligning field, virtual, data, and analytics capabilities to address evolving needs.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, shape, and close complex, multi‑solution deals across IQVIA's portfolio.Lead end‑to‑end sales process from origination through contract close with strong pipeline discipline and deal quality focus.Build and sustain executive‑level relationships with senior commercial, brand, and operations leaders.Design and position integrated solutions including field sales, virtual sales, hybrid models, and analytics‑enabled engagement.Partner across IQVIA to orchestrate capabilities into cohesive, differentiated client solutions.Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth and expand client partnerships.Apply deep knowledge of CSO and hybrid engagement models to align with evolving client needs.Translate commercialization challenges into actionable, outcome‑oriented strategies.Position IQVIA competitively through value‑based, differentiated messaging.Own revenue, pipeline performance, forecast accuracy, and CRM rigor.Travel up to 30% of the time.QualificationsBachelor's degree in business management or a related field.15+ years of business development, strategic sales, or commercial leadership experience.Demonstrated success closing large, complex, multi‑million‑dollar deals.Strong experience in pharmaceutical commercialization and CSO/contract sales models.Proven ability to engage and influence senior and executive‑level stakeholders.Ability to design integrated, cross‑functional solutions in a matrixed environment.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a strategic mindset.Experience leveraging data and insights to shape sales strategy and client value propositions.Executive‑level selling and relationship management.Data‑driven decision making and consultative selling approach.Core CapabilitiesExecutive‑level selling and relationship management.Integrated solution design and commercial strategy development.Deep understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization models.Knowledge of CSO, hybrid, and omnichannel engagement approaches.Ability to lead in a matrixed environment and influence without authority.Data‑driven decision making and consultative selling approach.CompensationAnnual base salary range: $125,300.00 – $349,000.00.
