(ADTI), is seeking a Materials Analyst for our Tarboro, NC manufacturing facility. This site supports the production of high-quality air distribution products utilized across commercial and industrial applications.The Materials Analyst is responsible for inventory control, materials planning, and production support, ensuring optimal material availability to meet customer demand while driving efficiency and cost control across the operation.What You'll DoAnalyze inventory levels, demand signals, and production schedules to ensure on‑time delivery and balanced material flowDevelop and maintain reports to improve inventory accuracy, planning visibility, and operational performanceMaintain and audit system data accuracy within ERP/MRP systemsSupport daily production needs by managing inventory shortages, schedule alignment, and material availabilityLead and execute cycle counting processes, including discrepancy investigation and root cause analysisManage MRB (Material Review Board) inventory and non‑conforming materials to reduce excess and obsolescenceReview and improve PFEP (Plan for Every Part), including material flow, storage, and replenishment strategiesOptimize Kanban levels, safety stock, lot sizes, and MOQ settingsPartner closely with purchasing, production, engineering, and warehouse teams to improve material flow and plant efficiencyIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within materials and inventory processesParticipate in and support plant safety initiatives and auditsWhat We're Looking ForAssociate degree with 1–2 years of experience in materials, inventory control, warehouse, or logisticsORBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related fieldStrong analytical and problem‑solving capabilitiesExperience working in a manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of inventory management principles and ERP/MRP systemsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office SuiteAbility to work cross‑functionally and communicate effectively across teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience in air distribution or HVAC manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of Oracle or similar ERP systemsExperience with forecasting, scheduling, and materials planningAPICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or progress toward certificationThis position operates in a professional office environment within a manufacturing facility, with frequent interaction on the production floor. The role requires collaboration across departments to support plant performance and customer commitments.
