Position SummaryIdentifies, transports patients to, from and within the OR Suite. Assists with patient positioning which includes holding extremities during surgical preparation, turning patients onto the surgical table/frame. Assists nursing staff with retrieving and returning equipment, supplies, implants. Assembles and stamps paperwork, prepares equipment (e.g., fracture table). Cleans the OR suite according to policy and procedure between cases and is responsible for terminal cleaning of the suite. Transports specimens, lab work, patientsā beds to and from the OR.
