Description:

Seolta Holdings, LLC seeks a versatile Manager of Engineering to work in conjunction with the COO to develop and implement an engineering strategy that is crucial to our continued growth and success. This position requires a visionary mindset and bold design experience in luxury boat building. Must lead a high-performing team to be effective, efficient, and productive.This position is responsible for managing the engineering department, with a focus on building efficiency, design, and manufacturing.Role and ResponsibilitiesDesigning and implementing plans for marine vessels, structures, and componentsCreating and developing design sketches and digital models using CAD softwareConducting feasibility studies and risk assessments on proposed designsEnsuring that designs comply with marine regulations and safety standardsWorking closely with engineers to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency of designsEvaluating the performance of marine vessels and structures, identifying problems, and making necessary modificationsPerforming physical testing on models and prototypes to verify the designDocumenting the design process, specifications, and test results for future reference and maintenanceCollaborating with construction teams to oversee the building processContinually updating knowledge on the latest marine technology, trends, and regulationsEnsure effective professional development, performance management, and retention.Adhere to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and acting when necessary.Analyze internal operations and identify opportunities for process improvement.Develop actionable business strategies and plans that align with short- and long-term objectives, developed in tandem with the COO.Directly oversee Production and Engineering and partner with the COO on sales management to budget for sufficient investment capital to achieve growth targets over the near term.Aggressively manage capital investments and expenses to ensure the company meets investor targets for growth and profitability.Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting.Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, stakeholders, management team, and employees.Must have Marine Engineering experienceBachelor's degree in engineering or related field.Five (5) plus years of experience in leadership positions.Must have excellent leadership skills, business acumen, and ability to effectively manage, lead, and supervise a team.Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues.A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.Executive-level communication and influencing skills with the ability to resolve issues, build consensus among groups of diverse internal/external stakeholders, and have proven skills in negotiating and mediating conflict.Must be able to excel at strategic thinking, be open to new perspectives and better ways to do things, and be creative, visionary, and manage innovation well.#J-18808-Ljbffr
