The Greenville Site Director will lead the Avient Protective Materials Greenville (NC) site ensuring high quality product is available for the marketplace. This key role will focus on controlling production operations while maintaining regulatory compliance. He/She will continually improve work practices to improve efficiency and productivity while driving employee engagement and continuous improvement.Provides direction to the Avient Protective Materials operational departments. Accountable for ensuring all programs and systems are in compliance with regulatory requirements. The Site Director is responsible for operations that are part of a global organization with manufacturing facilities in Heerlen, Greenville and Laiwu.Market Dynamics: This is a high demand global market with the demand far greater than supply capabilities. Manufacturing capacity is a bottleneck, and the challenge is to improve and increase quality and output in various ways. New product applications are being identified which will only increase demand.Technology Challenges: The production processes/technologies are unique and can still mature further. Information sharing is critical to ensure knowledge transfer occurs between our global manufacturing operations.Organizational Characteristics and Dynamics: The Avient Protective Materials organization is growing at a high rate. Employment and the number of plants on site have increased significantly to meet market demand.
