Position Overview We are seeking experienced Field Diesel Technicians to support our expanding field service operations.
This role is ideal for individuals who:
Enjoy working independently
Prefer a field-based environment over a traditional shop
Are confident handling roadside service calls and on-site repairs
Technicians will be assigned a fully equipped service truck and dispatched to customer locations for diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
Compensation Structure This position follows a performance-based pay model.
$32 – $45+ per hour depending on experience and productivity
Our top Mobile Technician earned $164,135 in 2025, with the average technician earning over $100,000 annually.
Earnings directly tied to efficiency, skill level, and output
Key Responsibilities Perform roadside service and on-location repairs
Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related components
Complete preventative maintenance services in the field
Accurately document repairs, labor, and service details
Maintain assigned service vehicle and parts inventory
Provide professional, customer-focused service at each job site
Qualifications Previous diesel technician experience (mobile service experience a plus)
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Willingness to travel within a designated service area
Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred)
Dependable with strong time management skills
