Job Description Job Description Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on trucks/trailers
Maintain a clean working environment
Performs general repairs to: electrical systems, starters, lights, alternators, wiring harness
Brake repair and installations
Engines (gasoline and diesel)
Troubleshoot brakes, air systems, electrical, suspension, etc.
Perform hydraulic troubleshooting/repairs as needed
Work with drivers to diagnose problems
Feed trailer repair

Qualifications:
Basic training in diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulics, air conditioning, and electrical systems
Heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience (truck + trailer)
Strong diagnostic skills
Ability to perform some type of welding (preferred)
Ability to fill out necessary paperwork efficiently
Ability to work overtime when needed
Own tools preferred
CDL a plus (not required)
