Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government corrections-related location.; Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and/or public agencies as needed.; Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.; Monitor entry and exit activity, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and report suspicious behavior, contraband concerns, and/or unusual conditions according to post orders.; Support controlled movement and order within assigned areas by maintaining a visible presence, following use of force and equipment guidelines, and completing required reports before the end of the shift.
