US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities: Perform wastewater treatment and monitor wastewater treatment equipment; Monitor equipment operations to ensure correct processing of wastewater through successive stages of domestic and industrial wastewater treatment systems; Observe gauges, lights, charts, telemetering devices, alarms, and other equipment controlling the distribution of water; Perform laboratory tests and record data for temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, settleable solids, and other applicable process and treatment requirements; Receive, handle, and store chemicals utilized in the various treatment processes
