This position will provide technical assistance to other laboratory members in using genetic-, molecular-, and biochemical-based strategies to study how Brucella strains regulate their genes and produce disease in their mammalian hosts. These studies require work under Biosafety Level 2 and 3 containment, and experimental infections are performed in cellular and mouse models. Primary Research Responsibilities Conducts molecular biology and biochemical research to support NIH-funded projects involving pathogenic bacteria and host interactions under Biosafety Level 2 and 3 conditions. Performs laboratory techniques including bacteriology, recombinant DNA methods, protein purification, and preparation of samples for RN - Aseq, proteomics, Ch. IP-seq, and Hi. C analysis. Conducts experimental procedures involving mammalian cell cultures and animal models, including infection studies and immunization protocols. Analyzes and interprets experimental data to support research objectives and ong...Research, Specialist, Journey, Technology, Laboratory
