About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of EHS to spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive environmental, health, and safety strategy. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the implementation of company-wide EHS programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and driving a culture of safety and sustainability. This senior leadership role involves mentoring and developing EHS staff, creating and enhancing EHS policies and systems, and overseeing various EHS initiatives, including incident investigations, emergency preparedness, and training programs. The Head of EHS will also be responsible for managing regulatory relationships and representing the organization in all EHS matters.Applicants for the Head of EHS position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years' EHS experience in a manufacturing environment. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in developing and leading enterprise-wide EHS programs, strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the willingness to travel. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of improving safety performance and driving a culture of safety within an organization.
