Reporting to the Assistant Athletics Director for Medical Services, the Associate Athletic Trainer will: 1. Assist the Assistant Athletics Director for Medical Services, team physician, and associated medical practitioners in prevention, immediate care, and rehabilitation of injuries sustained by East Carolina University student-athletes 2. Carry out policies and procedures of the athletic training facilities and ECU Department of Athletics 3. Assist the Head Football Athletic Trainer and additional football staff in providing medical coverage to a group of up to 125 Division 1 Football Student Athletes .. Serve as backup to the Head Football Athletic Trainer when needed. Communicate with the football staff during staff meetings and give injury updates when the Head Athletic Trainer is not available ..
