Job Details

The position of Building Maintenance worker reports directly to the Support Services/ Maintenance Manager and is responsible for assisting with routine repairs which are needed to buildings on campus. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent work experience. Knowledge and ability to operate various types of tools and power equipment safely and efficiently. Work in and out of doors in varying weather conditions without restrictions. Effectively handle and lift various objects weighing up to 60 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to perform manual labor and operate landscaping equipment including, but not limited to weed trimmer, leaf blower, lawn mower. Ability to work from a ladder to clean gutters, paint and complete repairs. Must be able to manage and complete multiple tasks, and work independently as well as in a team according to task assigned with limited supervision.
