Description:

We're Hiring: Facility Engineers — Boviet Solar USA (Phase 2 Expansion)

?? Location: Greenville, North Carolina | ?? Full-Time | ? Solar Manufacturing

Boviet Solar USA is powering the future of clean energy — and we're building the team to match. As we scale our Phase 2 manufacturing expansion in Greenville, NC, we're seeking skilled engineering professionals to join our Facilities team and keep our cutting-edge photovoltaic (PV) cell production running at peak performance.

We currently have open positions across five critical engineering disciplines:

?? Open Positions

  1. Electrical Engineer

Own the technical management of our PV facility electrical systems — from inverters and power distribution to energy storage and PLC control. You'll lead fault resolution, drive technical upgrades, and ensure safe, efficient power operations across the facility.

  1. Gasification Engineer

Lead the design, operation, and optimization of our gasification systems (gasifiers, purification, storage, and transmission). You'll manage silane, hydrogen, and nitrogen supply reliability while ensuring compliance with hazardous chemical safety regulations.

  1. HVAC Engineer

Maintain the cleanroom-grade temperature, humidity, and air quality environment essential to PV cell production. You'll oversee refrigeration, ventilation, dehumidification, and automatic control systems while driving energy-saving innovations.

  1. Water Treatment Engineer

Ensure a consistent supply of high-purity process water while managing wastewater treatment and recycling. You'll lead RO/EDI systems, membrane optimization, and environmental compliance under national water quality standards.

  1. Assistant Maintenance Engineer

Support our engineering team across electrical, gasification, HVAC, and water treatment systems. You'll assist with maintenance planning, preventive schedules, fault support, and technical documentation — a great entry point for engineers ready to grow in the solar manufacturing space.

? What We're Looking For

While each role has specific requirements, all candidates should generally bring:

  • Associate's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, HVAC, Environmental, or related)
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial facility engineering (senior roles) OR 1+ year for the Assistant Engineer position
  • Hands-on experience with industrial systems in manufacturing, semiconductor, solar, or chemical environments
  • Ability to read and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, electrical schematics, and CAD drawings
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, SCADA, or intelligent facility controls (preferred)
  • Strong fault diagnosis, data analysis, and technical documentation skills
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., High-Voltage Electrician, Refrigeration, Hazmat, Special Equipment) are a plus

?? What You'll Be Part Of

  • A rapidly growing U.S. solar manufacturer at the forefront of domestic clean energy production
  • A collaborative, cross-functional team of engineers, operators, and production specialists
  • A Phase 2 facility expansion with long-term growth and leadership opportunities
  • Competitive compensation, full-time employment, and a commitment to safety and professional development
