Water Resources Construction Inspector I/II
Salary Range: $46,612.80- $82,721.60
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM

The successful applicant will be responsible for performing skilled technical work in the inspection of water and sanitary sewer pipeline construction performed by private contractors; assuring that piping systems are constructed with approved materials, according to correct installation methods, procedures and established standards; interacting directly with contractors in enforcing conformance with construction documents and standards; assisting contractors in performing system testing and water pipeline disinfection; and preparing reports on construction progress. This position requires a minimum of three years of experience in water and sewer pipeline construction, requires the ability to read and interpret sketches and engineering plans, make mathematical calculations and be able to deal courteously with builders and contractors.

Construction Inspector I:
Anticipated Hiring Range - $46,612.80 - $59,446.40

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver's License
• 3-5 Years Experience

Preferred Requirements:

• Grade II Water Pollution Control Collection System Operator Certification
• Grade B Water Distribution Certification
• Supplemental Technical Education in Water and Sewer Pipeline Construction

Construction Inspector II:
Anticipated Hiring Range - $53,372.80 - $68,057.60

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver's License
• 5-7 Years Experience
• Grade II Water Pollution Control Collection System Operator Certification
• Grade B Water Distribution Certification

Preferred Requirements:

• Grade IV Water Pollution Control Collection System Operator Certification
• Grade A Water Distribution Certification
• Supplemental Technical Education in Civil Construction/Mapping or related field
