The NC State Capitol Police is seeking motivated, community-minded individuals interested in a law-enforcement career to apply for our Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) Cadet. Recruitment Salary Range: $46,673 - $55,000

Minimum Education and Experience
High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma. Necessary Special Qualifications:
1. Must complete all requirements for an NC Probationary Law Enforcement Certification, including completion of Basic Law Enforcement Training, in accordance with the provisions of the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission within one year of employment.
2. Must be at least 20 years of age.
3. Possession of a valid NC Driver's License by start date of BLET class.
4. Have no felony convictions or disqualifying misdemeanors.
