--- Project Description ---
This position maintains eight Java web applications, and the
design and development of all new work, including the entire
architecture structure of our development platform. The position
also supports enterprise projects as needed and provides
training and mentoring to lesser experienced developers.

--- Day-to-Day Tasks ---
1. Design/develop Relational Database models.
2. Develop database
queries to retrieve, update and delete data.
3. Develop database
objects, procedures, and triggers.
4. Design, implement and
maintain Java web applications throughout the System
Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
5. Assist in Business
Requirements collection and analysis.
6. Design and develop
prototypes.
7. Review coding and evaluate the development
process.
8. Write code and implement Java, HTML, XHTML, JSP,
JPA, JSF, Hibernate, Korn shell, SQL, and Web Services.
9. Support/maintenance of eight Java web applications.
10. Design/development of new java web-based applications.
11. Assistance in enterprise level projects as needed.

--- Required Qualifications ---
• 84 months of experience programming server-side Java web
applications in a multi-tier environment using JDK 1.5 or higher.
• 60 months of experience writing queries, stored procedures,
functions, packages, and triggers in Oracle 10g or higher.
• 48 months of development experience in database design and
object creation/modification of databases consisting of 20 or more
tables in Oracle 10g or higher.
• 48 months of programming experience with Java Server Faces.
• 36 months of programming experience with Java Persistence API.
• 36 months of experience with JavaScript/JQuery.
