Job Details

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of manual labor tasks and other duties as assigned. This is accomplished by working as part of a turf maintenance crew and engaging in routine parks maintenance work. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Examples of Duties Serves as a crew member for parks and athletic field maintenance work;Maintains and repairs park athletic fields through manual labor;Performs litter control using a light-duty truck;Transports trailers, mowers, and other equipment;Loads and unloads supplies and materials;Works throughout parks and completes ballfield layouts, mows turf, drags baseball and softball fields, paints fields, and sprays herbicides;Uses a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete landscaping tasks;Assists in setting up for events and programs;Operates mowers, tractors, and implements to complete athletic field maintenance duties;Performs other duties as assigned.
