Job Description

ECU Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness is currently seeking several Intramural Official/Scorekeepers.

Join our dedicated Campus Recreation and Wellness (CRW) team as an Intramural Official or Scorekeeper! This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in officiating and managing intramural sports games. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of the campus community through organized sports activities.

Responsibilities:

• Officiate intramural sports games
• Keep accurate scores and manage game records
• Ensure the safety and fair play of all participants
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of sports equipment and facilities
• Provide excellent customer service to participants and spectators
• Promote CRW intramural programs and encourage student participation

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Preferred (Majors, GPA)

• Kinesiology
• Sports Management
• Exercise Physiology
• Minimum GPA: 2.0

General Qualifications:

• Experience in sports or officiating preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of sports rules and regulations (preferred)
• Must be qualified for Federal Work Study.
