About This Role

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional journey for our customers at CarMax. You'll serve as a supportive guide throughout the buying and selling process, ensuring simplicity and transparency remain at the heart of every customer interaction. Your effective communication and partnership across teams will guarantee a positive experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting customers through the entire process, from sales and appraisals to test drives and financing applications.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle condition assessments and communicate findings to buyers for accurate customer appraisals.
  • Manage the check-in of vehicles shipped to CarMax, performing daily scanning and reconciliation of vehicle inventory.
  • Carry out cosmetic inspections to ensure all vehicles meet CarMax's Quality Standards.
  • Handle various administrative tasks, such as printing reports, managing transaction paperwork, and contacting finance companies regarding customer contracts.
  • Create service appointments and verify the accuracy of repair order invoices for retail service work performed.

Education and Experience
