n. Lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs and maintains commercial and industrial production and processing piping systemsn. Essential Functions:nn. Interprets sketches, blue prints and isometric drawingsn. Cleans, bevels, prepares and installs pipe with various fittings and weld jointsn. Performs layout, rigging and transportation of pipe, valves and fittingsn. Installs pipe and related materials and equipmentn. Inspects worksite to determine presence of obstructionsn. Plans sequence on installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other workersn. Cuts pipe using, pipe cutter, cutting torch and pipe cutting machinen. Threads pipe using threading machinen. Secures pipes to structure with bracket, clamps, and hangers, using hand and power toolsn. Tests piping systemsn. Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and suppliesn.
