Supports compliance with corporate and local Training and Development (T&D) policies and procedures; offers support and guidance to other departments and interface with external professional experts.
Sets the strategy for the training and development function and drives implementation of an effective strategy for the Greenville Site. Manages process and structures to support local delivery of the strategy and policy. Identifies, plans, implements and evaluates training and development activities to ensure the short-term and long-term availability of a competent and performing workforce to meet the current and future requirements of the organization.
Coaches direct and indirect employees in T&D programs and supports decision making.
Provides support and advice to line managers to enable them to develop and retain a competent and committed workforce, offering pragmatic guidance and solutions and willing to make difficult decisions.
Supports the delivery of organizational development/change and performance improvement activity.
Supports the Site Safety Steering Team through facilitating the site's behavior-based safety process and organization of quarterly safety topics.
To ensure adherence to the specific guidelines and regulations with regard to quantity, quality, environment and safety.
