Position Summary:

As a Dishwasher and Kitchen Support Staff member at IHOP, you will play a vital role in maintaining kitchen operations and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This position involves upholding high sanitation standards, assisting with food prep, and contributingto the overall efficiency of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently operate and maintain dishwashing equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using both dishwashers and manual methods.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables and prepping ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in both the kitchen and dishwashing areas, keeping everything tidy and efficient.
  • Follow sanitation and safety procedures consistently throughout your shift.
  • Support kitchen staff with tasks related to food storage and inventory management.
  • Assist waitstaff and servers by restocking supplies, clearing tables, and delivering items to the front of house as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality.
  • Willingness to learn and adhere to instructions.
