ob Title: Remote Line Cook / Prep Cook Mining Camp CateringPositions Available: 4 Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off (on-site housing & meals provided) Pay: $20 $26/hour + overtime + housing & mealsPosition SummaryWere hiring Line Cook / Prep Cook team members to support high-volume kitchen operations at a remote mining camp in Northern Washington. Youll prepare and cook breakfast and dinner menus and components for 100 grab-and-go lunch boxes in a mobile kitchen trailer. This is a fast-paced environment requiring teamwork, attention to detail, and strong sanitation practices. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook menu items according to set recipes and quality standards. Perform bulk food prep of proteins, vegetables, starches, sauces, and other components. Assemble components for 100 grab-and-go lunch boxes daily.Maintain clean, organized workstations; adhere to hygiene and food safety requirements. Assist with buffet setup, service, and kitchen cleanup. Restock ingredients and supplies, manage portion control, and help reduce waste. Follow safe food handling and sanitation protocols at all times. Required QualificationsPrior commercial kitchen experience in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a remote environment.Food Worker Card required (or ability to obtain within 14 days of hire).Strong understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices. Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving food supplies throughout shifts.Preferred AttributesExperience with institutional kitchens, catering, or remote site food service.Ability to multitask during peak production times.Comfortable following structured recipes and directions from kitchen supervisors.
