Are you a detail-oriented professional with a background in construction administration? Our client is eager to find a skilled Construction Office Administrator to support their construction operations from inception to completion. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in construction administrative support and is knowledgeable about industry best practices.

Qualifications for Construction Office Administrator:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college education is highly preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years in construction services, administrative support, contract administration, or construction project management
  • Understanding of construction industry processes, including codes, AIA documentation, and safety regulations
  • Basic accounting, bookkeeping, and math skills are a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and construction management software
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, attention to detail, and communication skills

Responsibilities of the Construction Office Administrator:

  • Support project managers in estimating and adhering to budgets, creating project schedules, and providing project updates
  • Experience in handling permits
  • Coordinate the subcontractor, vendor, and supplier processes by preparing comprehensive bid packages
  • Manage construction contract administration and maintain submittal logs
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with contracts and building regulations
  • Handle cash management, payroll, and billing tasks
  • Prepare the project closeout package, including maintenance agreements, equipment information, warranties, and contractor contact details
