Job SummaryThe City of Greenville Recreation and Parks Department is seeking candidates for the Facility Attendant position at Jaycee Park Center for Arts & Crafts. This position will assist with organizing and conducting various recreation activities and events.Minimum Age: 18 years old, at the time of application.Terms: Year-RoundHours: Varies between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. This position will be 4 - 20 hours per week.This is a continuous posting and may close at any timeExamples of Duties* Answers telephone, provides the public with needed information;* Processes program registration and facility reservations;* Responsible for completing routine facility maintenance and housekeeping;* Collects fees, payments, and makes deposits; and* Assists in the preparation of publicity materials and promoting events.* Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications* Prior experience in a recreational setting is preferred.* Knowledge or the ability to maintain art or pottery equipment properly preferred.* Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.* Ability to utilize registration software.* First Aid and CPR Certifications are required within 60 days of hire.Special Requirements* Must have the ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds with or without accommodation.* Must possess a valid driver's license issued by N.C. or another state
