ITW Medical is comprised of three highly-respected medical product brands - Coeur, Filtertek & Precise Biomedical - supplying medical devices, components and service to global medical device brands. Filtertek manufactures molded filtration and flow control components. Precise provides technical service, maintenance & training for contrast media injectors. Coeur is a leading provider of disposable diagnostic imaging consumables.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES:
Perform routine visual/functional/dimensional testing per required specifications and procedures for the Quality and Assembly departments
Ensure conformance of received components
Ensure conformance of production to required specifications and documentation requirements through routine, in-process inspection.
Ensure proper labeling
Ensure proper documentation/sampling
Conduct applicable visual, dimensional, and functional testing
Complete appropriate documentation, including release/hold paperwork/ databases
Communicate findings real-time
Provide Quality support to production in the clean room and lab environment
Perform end of pallet case inspections for conformance to specifications
Complete appropriate documentation associated with Device History Records
Review and/or approve:
label controls
production Bill of Materials
work orders
pallet labeling
DHR paperwork
When applicable, assist in review of rework product
When applicable, initiate Internal Quality Feedback Reports in the Quality Database
Know and Understand Quality Policy and be able to communicate to other employees throughout the organization
Other duties assigned
General Responsibilities/Support
Offer support in the handling of day-to-day production activities with minimal direct supervision and guidance.
Offer input for areas for improvement in products, processes and procedures.
Perform special testing, including validation testing, as required
Perform process Audits/Inspections as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Educational Level
Comprehension/Reasoning Skills
Ability to read and understand complex instructions such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to record results and to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to effectively and promptly communicate results from inspections.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Math Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to operate standard office equipment including a photocopier.
Prior experience using personal computer and standard spreadsheet and word processing software packages preferred.
Ability to use hand-operated and touch screen-controlled equipment.
