Senior Electrical Automation TechnicianFood Manufacturing | On-site (Kinston NC)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Salary: $35-$44 per hour

This role focuses on troubleshooting, system reliability, safety, and continuous improvement while partnering with maintenance, engineering, and IT to keep production running efficiently and in compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, drives, and electrical control systems
- Support automation reliability, backups, and control networks
- Identify and implement automation improvements to reduce downtime
- Ensure GMP, food safety, and electrical safety compliance
- Maintain electrical and automation documentation
- Train and support maintenance technicians on controls systems
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and vendors on upgrades and projects
Qualifications- Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of industrial electrical or automation experience
- Strong Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot independently
- Comfortable working weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed
Preferred- Manufacturing or food production experience
- Mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic knowledge
- Team-oriented, safety-focused mindset
