Job Summary

Greenville's Recreation & Parks Department is currently recruiting softball umpires for our Adult Softball Leagues. Under the general supervision and guidance of the Adult Athletics Supervisor, the Adult Softball Umpires will officiate and maintain control of league play by utilizing rules knowledge, proper mechanics, and consistent judgment. Umpires will also work with other personnel to maintain a safe environment for participants and will perform other miscellaneous duties.

Applicants must attend pre-season training.

Season: April through early July 2026, Monday through Thursday, 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Minimum Age: 18 years old, at the time of application
Salary: $30 per game (2 to 3 games per night)
