The City of Greenville runs various special events throughout the year. We are looking for individuals who would like to join the Special Events Support Staff to assist with pre-event, on-site, and event execution. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, creative thinking, a passion for events, and the ability to create a high-quality experience for attendees. Note: This is a part-time position and hours will vary based on event needs. Nights, weekends, and some holidays are required.

Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent and ability to work with the public; AND Minimum age of 18 years old.
Skilled in: basic office skills, record keeping, and organization skills.
Ability to: speak effectively before groups and interact constructively and well with others. Work as part of a team. Engage with customers of all ages and abilities. Work with sound equipment or audio/visual equipment. Follow oral and written instructions. Work successfully with supervisory and lead staff. Meet deadlines.
