Description:Key Functions:Ensure the safety of all associates by identifying safety issues and taking measures to proactively address concernsActively oversee, develop, and participate in preventative maintenance activities and ensure effective communication across & between shifts and with the production teamsBuild detailed job plans for maintenance team job plansHave work orders kitted/staged and all parts issued for work plansUtilize preventive maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtimeEfficient use of reliable troubleshooting methods to ensure uptime, production volume and quality goals are metContinuous improvement efforts involving maintenance and production crews in problem solving to maximize facility improvement in safety, housekeeping, waste reduction, quality, productivity and costUse computer-based programs to support effective prioritization of maintenance requests, manage maintenance inventory, and delegate maintenance resourcesIdentifying safety, environmental, quality and production issuesIdentifying measures to minimize cost and reduce wasteProviding backup support to maintenance supervisors to lead & direct electrical maintenance activities and work assignmentsQualifications:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Minimum of three (3) years experience in an electrical maintenance positionWork related experience in leading and ensuring compliance with safety initiativesKnowledgeable in the areas of electrical & mechanical processes & troubleshootingProven expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance methodsAbility to identify root cause of problems and effectively initiate immediate corrective action to prevent reoccurrenceExcellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skillsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all associatesStrong planning and organizational skillsStrong work ethic, good judgment and decision-making skillsDemonstrated computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, other windows based programs and internet skillsExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems such as Maximo, SAP, or other CMMS applicationsMust be willing to work holidays as needed, be “on-call” and provide rotating weekend support as schedule requiresAbility to work in extreme temperatures and at heights should conditions warrantPreferred Qualifications:Technical, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related fieldExperience in wood products manufacturingWhat We Offer:Compensation : This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $62,884-$94,256 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use.
