Role: Chemical Process/Production Engineer ⚗

Join an expanding global chemical leader in beautiful coastal Eastern North Carolina as a Process/Production Engineer with daily involvement supporting multiple chemical plant operations including Purified Acid, Sulfuric Acid, Fertilizers, Phosphate, Potash, and Animal Feed production. Provide process oversight for multiple production operations, recommend and lead facilities and process improvements to maintain and improve production quality, safety, cost, and efficiency in line with Continuous Improvement philosophy. Monitor and analyze daily production data, identify trends, and lead quality investigations using Root Cause Analysis while serving as a technology expert and mentor to junior engineers. Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering required
• 3+ years of experience in Process/Manufacturing Engineering in fiber, composite, polymer, or chemical process manufacturing
• Experience from large, continuous-process chemical plant strongly preferred
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident (green card) status required
• Demonstrated technical process support ability in chemical manufacturing environment
• Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of advanced process control systems and methodologies
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and quality investigations
• Ability to monitor and analyze production data and identify trends
• Experience with material balance, unit operations, and production process development
• Strong communication skills to interact with technicians and conduct formalized training
• Ability to prepare technical reports related to production problems and process deviations
• Experience developing and improving operating procedures, recipes, and JSAs
