Solution Architect – SAP (Finance, Controlling & Treasury)
Be part of a global SAP project across all business units. Bring deep understanding of SAP ECC 6.0 processes for Finance, Controlling & Treasury, and leverage your expertise to ensure best business practices and alignment with business requirements.
As a member of the Information Services Department, you will support analysis, design, evaluation, configuration, testing, and implementation primarily in the FI, CO & TR functional areas while integrating MM, SD, PM, PS, and PP.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and conduct Business Design sessions, ensuring global business needs are incorporated.
- Lead process re‑engineering exercises to align with business best practices.
- Prepare business design documentation, including processes, workflows, and procedures.
- Resolve issues arising from design sessions.
- Produce functional specifications for development objects.
- Recommend software configuration requirements for assigned business processes.
- Define multi‑country requirements to support localization and statutory obligations.
- Communicate regularly with Senior Manager SAP Finance and Project Management to confirm configuration meets project scope.
- Assess environment infrastructure and opportunities to keep designs and deliverables cost‑effective.
- Participate in system integration testing to validate requirements are met.
- Assist with data cleansing, validation, and migration efforts.
- Help prepare user training materials.
- Ensure adherence to company standards and methodologies.
- Provide end‑user support during go‑live.
- Assist with production support issues and provide secondary support as needed.
- Report status timely to IS management.
Qualifications
- Exceptional documentation, facilitation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience with process mapping and business requirements gathering.
- At least two full lifecycle SAP implementations, preferably as a consultant/functional professional.
- Strong process modeling in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently in a self‑directed setting.
- Leadership qualities and a strong command of enterprise architecture best practices.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Visio, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Word).
- Handling confidential work with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Presentable and confident when engaging customers.
- Collaborative teamwork across varying sizes.
- Willingness to travel outside of home base country.
Education and Experience
• Minimum 4‑year degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. • At least 10 years of SAP experience focused on Finance, Controlling & Treasury. • Experience with S/4 HANA implementation in FI/CO is preferred. • Working knowledge of accounting principles is a plus.
