Overview
Senior Standards Project Specialist within the Software-Enabled Products, Autonomy & Robotics (SEPAR) program at UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE). This hybrid opportunity is based in Evanston, IL or Raleigh-Durham, NC or Ottawa, CAN offices.
Role purpose
The Senior Standards Project Specialist (SEPAR) will support a diverse portfolio of standards and related standards activities to advance the mission of UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE) to make the world safer, more secure, and sustainable. The role will support the development, revision, and maintenance of standards activities and coordinate interdependencies to ensure successful project outcomes.

What you'll learn and achieve
- Support standards activities to enable the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety standards.
- Support various components of communication or engagement efforts, including technical committee support.
- Identify and resolve moderate or complex issues within a process or system. Make recommendations on perceived risk and escalate where needed.
- Maintain continued awareness of industry trends and external context related to the portfolio. Stay current with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks governing public safety.
- Make notable contributions to shared team goals and independently manage workload effectively, using appropriate communication and adherence to deliverable and timeline expectations.
- Perform other duties as directed.

Salary Range: $55,635.80 - $76,499.22
