What you'll do

• Maintain the area of responsibility in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning the area, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
• Provide member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing member receipts, acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and helping locate merchandise
• Provide member service in the self-checkout area by resolving member issues, promoting Sam's Club products and services, guiding members on self-service technology, processing purchases, and handling payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to policy for different memberships and payment types
• Assist with securing and safeguarding Sam's Club assets by observing potential criminal activity, maintaining paperwork logs and required documentation, executing emergency procedures, and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices
• Assist with training of Member Frontline Service associates on processes, new technology, tool functionality, and program rollouts, including ongoing learning and process improvement opportunities
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics by implementing action plans and applying Open Door Policy in business processes
• Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks with managers and coworkers, communicating progress, addressing improvement opportunities, and adapting to change
• Foster a culture of belonging by respecting individuals, embracing differences, and promoting teamwork and positive communication
• Act with integrity by upholding high standards of ethics and accountability, supporting Walmart's goals and community impact
