Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Traveling Superintendent located in the Carolinas, NC. In this position, the Superintendent will oversee field operations, manage day‑to‑day construction activities, and ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Review project plans and resolve issues promptly.
• Foster effective communication across all project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and project management skills to oversee construction schedules, budgets, and teams.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, project specifications, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations, with the ability to enforce site safety protocols.
• Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills to ensure smooth project execution.
• Experience with construction management tools, software, and reporting systems is an advantage.
• Ability to travel as needed and work on‑site for extended periods.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
