Job Description:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests
• Assess students' skills to determine their needs and develop teaching plans
• Collaborate with parents, administrators, and other professionals to create effective learning environments
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development
• Provide a safe and supportive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• State certification in Special Education
• Prior experience working with students with special needs preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic teaching environment
