Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive in-home services to expectant parents and families with young children
• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with families, honoring diverse parenting practices
• Conduct family assessments and partner with families to develop individualized Family Service Plans
• Promote parent-child bonding and overall family well-being through education and coaching
• Accurately document home visits and participate in reflective supervision and team meetings

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in human services, child development, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience working with or providing services to children and families is required
• Valid drivers license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Understanding of trauma-informed care and dynamics of child abuse and neglect

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in home visiting, early childhood development, or family support programs such as Healthy Families America
• Knowledge of infant and child development and parent-child attachment
• Infant Mental Health Endorsement preferred
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities preferred
