The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations across fiber and LP manufacturing areas. This role provides leadership for project implementation, equipment readiness, maintenance coordination, and operational excellence initiatives, with a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, and cost control.
Responsibilities:
--Lead cross-functional teams for capital projects and major equipment shutdowns/start-ups.
--Act as the operations liaison for engineering projects, ensuring alignment with production needs, safety standards, and training requirements.
--Oversee daily maintenance planning, execution, and long-term reliability improvements.
--Support continuous improvement in cost, productivity, safety, and quality.
--Supervise team performance and development, promoting collaboration and accountability.
--Monitor and manage budgets, analyze variances, and drive expense control.
--Review and approve operational procedures, training plans, and documentation.
--Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
--Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience).
--Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or operations.
--Strong understanding of production systems, maintenance planning, and project integration.
--Able to read P&IDs and develop effective startup and operational plans.
--Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional environments and process improvement efforts.
